Volunteer Qualifications Our Consultants come from a variety of careers and from both corporate and nonprofit organizations. The breadth of services offered is extensive and expanding. Since Consultants are assigned to projects based on their skills we need consultants with varied backgrounds. Qualifications for becoming a volunteer management consultant include: Possess managerial-level business experience Individual preferably be retired; consideration for special skills given to those individuals in-between careers, or still employed A willingness to donate time and expertise to help Lehigh Valley nonprofit community service organizations Have means of personal transportation Time Commitment: ESCLV consultants can expect to devote an average of about 10 hours per month on assigned projects. Projects usually last 2-3 months. Consultants almost always work in teams of two individuals on one project at a time. If available and desirous, they can participate in additional projects in a given year.
