| The Consultant Project Process |
When you contact ESCLV, the Executive Director will speak with you about your needs and your
organization. The Executive Director will normally schedule a meeting at your organization's site to
become more familiar with your needs and physical plant. We can then recommend ESCLV services or give
you a referral to other services. If you elect to consider ESCLV consulting services, you will be asked
to fill out a Request for Assistance form.
After the Request for Assistance form is received by ESCLV a meeting is held to introduce the ESCLV
consultants and have them learn more about your organizational culture and the issues you are hoping to
address. The Consultants will prepare a Statement of Work.
The Executive Director determines the project fee, using our sliding scale fee schedule, which is
based on your organization's budget and the number of hours ESCLV expects to spend to complete the project.
This information, along with the statement of work and timeline, is part of the contract agreement
to be reviewed and finalized with the client.
Once the contract is signed by both organizations, the consulting team begins assessing the client's
needs . Most projects include data gathering from the client, analysis by the consultants,
preliminary conclusions presented to the client, and the writing and presentation, including
recommendation, of a final report to the client.
The ESCLV consultants' responsibility is ultimately for the timely completion of the project and
communicating and coordinating with the ESCLV Executive Director.
A project evaluation is presented to the client after completion of the project. The results are shared
with the consulting team with permission from the client.
