Executive Service Corps of the Lehigh Valley
Executive Service Corps: Nonprofit organizations today face an ever increasing array of threats, challenges and opportunities. To achieve success in this environment these organizations must become even more “business-minded” than ever before. For the past 25 years and more the local affiliates of the ESC have applied proven business planning and management skills to the nonprofit sector. ESC affiliates assemble the best teams to help solve everyday nonprofit problems that consist of highly trained active and retired professionals who have years of experience in a variety of professional disciplines. The Executive Service Corps of the Lehigh Valley is no different.
ESCLV Mission: To assist nonprofit institutions in the Lehigh Valley become more successful through the use of the Executive Service Corps of the Lehigh Valley (ESCLV) volunteer management consultants.
The ESCLV: The Executive Service Corps of the Lehigh Valley was established in 1995. It is modeled after the National Executive Service Corp (NESC) in New York founded in 1977. Today, the ESCLV is one of 34 affiliates nationwide, but functions as a completely autonomous and independent organization with its own board of directors and staff. ESCLV currently offers experienced and professional consulting in the areas of strategic planning, board governance/development, financial management/fund raising, and market planning. With over 40 active volunteer consultants, ESCLV is able to provide two (2) consultants to each project. Although ESCLV does charge a fee, dependent upon an organization’s annual operating budget, it is minimal in comparison to the fees charged by commercial consultants and it is balanced by the high level of expertise represented by our volunteer consultants.
ESCLV Equals Experience: The Board of Directors represents a cross-section of experiential talent that forms a firm base for guiding the mission of this organization:

ESCLV has a core of committed actively employed and retired professionals who have the desire to see this enterprise succeed and the skills to accomplish their goal. This group represents an intellectual pool of talent and commitment that will allow each person to make a difference in the lives of other individuals, their community, and society as a whole.
